not sure what you mean by seal runner
but when a mate of mine helped me with mine we marked the position of the nut with a centre punch, used a rattle gub to undo the nut, replaced the seal but not the crush thingy and than did the nut back up with a rattle gun until the nut went a little past its original position 1/16 of a turn.....maybe not that much
seems to have worked to date, my local parts supplier suggested this method
