Ummm... what happens if you catch a decent fish? Wouldn't it tow you?

    Hi there Wells
My brother and I both fish out of kayaks, he does alot more than me, he goes out to sea chasing snapper, mackeral, tuna etc.
Actually he is fishing right now
I mainly fish in the rivers, have been out to sea afew times but don't like the idea of tackling decent size swell and risking the loss of fishing gear etc.
I'll post some pics up later!!
By the way great looking kayak

mmmm towed away by a fish , sounds good . dont know if it would , you are probably right ,it might . thankfully we are only in the fresh water rivers and lakes so i guess the worst think that can happen is hooking a large cod . there getting to be few and far between though .

I have caught quite a few flathead from kayaks and a 700mm barramundi from a canoe as well as a lot of trout from a canoe.
The barra was a bit interesting.
I haven't been game to go after anything really big.
I might try for some tailor and salmon soon.

That kayak looks identical to my old Lettman slalom kayak (except that it is in better shape).
It makes a great fishing kayak.
