I guess I will be bugging you guys now as I picked up a pair of 107 utes today. Paid $750 for the pair.
Have only towed them to mums before coming home, so don't know the no.s yet but will post when I do.
Initially this is what I know. Both petrol. One ute tub, one trayback.
One is complete, fully assembled. This one is an ex-bushfire brigade ute from Fraser Island, that was taken out bush fo 40 years. Chassis has a little rust, not excactly sure how much. A few dings, apparently was really straight until the property owners grandson got his hands on it. Basically took it for parts and the fact it has a thomas 8000lb pto winch hanging off the front of it. It could be a restorer yet depending on the chassis.
The other is a '56 I'm told. Chassis is immaculate, brand new period tyres. The body work, while all dissasembled, has all been rolled flat and primed. Just like brand new. The motor is pulled apart, so will see what it needs. There are heaps of boxes of stuff and I have seen at least 2 instrument panels, the seats have been reupholstered, and everything is as clean as a whistle. It's just a big meccano set and with all the panels off and primed, just pick a colour.
There are also spare front guards and I think doors. Wheels as well.
I will be able to give a full run down on what is there and what I might want to move on soon.
When I can I will show you all the bits off the good one.

Nice one - Good score CC,
Is the bushfire one a 109"? I can see that tell tale bolt head behind the front wheel.
Mate it could well be. I didn't have much time as I looked at them just before lunch, then when I hired the trailer I only had 3 hours to shuffle the 2 and return it. Then drive 2 hours back home.

Very nice pair there. I wonder how far away numerically they are from the Numties Thomas.
Apparently progressivly from '56 with the new engine options for the diesel, they put 2" in the front of the chassis to make the 109'. In the series 1, the front guard then had a bolt behind the front wheel for mounting the guard.
When I can I will measure and get numbers.

Nice score there. Will be interested in anything you might wish to move on, and chances are we may have something you need.
