    1954 86" rebuild......

    Hi there all

Well its time to start pulling my finger out and have a go at another project......

Well its a 1954 SWB 86"....fitted with rear PTO and front capstan.

Some would see it stange as its not red - but the wife has claimed it as her car and wants to drive it at the the "Land Rover Register" event at Blinman in 2009 (March........I hope it can be done)

Its a reasonably complete vehicle and drivable........I need to stress its not a downs to chasis rebuild but a general tidy up and paint.

Well I will keep you all posted on its progress.

    March!?! I'd better get cracking.

I've tried to reach the event a few times now. Every time though, something comes up, and we get there late and miss it all.

BTW, Very nice looking unit, Ellard.

Are you going to keep it that colour Wayne? At least it is different from most others of that vintage.

Yes we are going to keep it that colour.

If you remember last time you where here we fitted a spray bar to the rear..........bl--dy salvation jane.

Can anyone confirm what colour it is (code/name etc)
