How long does the CREB take?
Hi, can anyone give me an idea how long it takes to do the creb? I live in Cairns and dont get many days off. Was wondering if it could be a (long) day trip. I dont mind starting at Daintree at first light and I would return via the Bloomfield Track.
Cheers

The CREB could take anywhere from 5 hours to neither you or your vehicle being able to complete it. If it is dry weather you should have no problems in a reasonable 4x4, I've seen a Holden ute do it (LSD). If it's wet, good chance you won't get through, even just 10mm makes the track so slippery, it becomes almost impossible to walk on!. Next time I do it, I'm taking chains, just in case. Don't forget the creek crossings-unpredictable at best.
