    The Ideal 101 landrover driver.

The Ideal 101 Landrover driver should be.
Skinny to fit behind the steering wheel.
Strong arm muscles to steer with.
Short legs and body to fit the seat.
Long legs and body to be able to jump in and out of the cab.
    Must have a fat wallet.
Must be not able to feel pain from heat and non conforming seat and suspension.
Must love Landrovers above all else.

    How did I go ?
Did I leave any thing out.

    id like to SEE that

    Very good description there 101.
I wonder if anyone at these forums are good at drawing or at adobe photoshop and can give us a visual representation of the ultimate landrover owner.
It would be funny to see if i actually look similar.

Most of those descriptors fit Cooee pretty well.

    Ideal dimensions

Nobody asked me how big I wanted to grow when I was a lad...

I love my rovers above all other vehicles and have several on the road and more awaiting restoration, but I must admit having to slouch down to see under the top of the windscreens on all of them... mind you I'm 6'6 tall and 115 Kilos. Not to worry - ALL cars and trucks are cramped in my opinion.

My favourite of the collection is of course the FC101 ambulance and despite the horrendous fuel costs I try to drive it as often as I possibly can. 100% enjoyment.

    Cheers

I am thinking about getting power steering in mine - not because the steering is heavy but because my gut and steering have a very close relationship - and fitting a smaller steering wheel will help break off the relationship
