window vent rubbers ???

I just purchased front window vent rubbers for my 1995 defender 110, but they look different to the original.
Does anyone have any experience fitting these. What glue and especially which way around do they go. The original rubber/foam seems to be a half moon shape that is glued to the vent cover. The new ones have all sorts of grooves and dishes in them and not easy to work out where they are glued to.

I just fitted vent rubbers but it was straight forward. Just had to peal of the backing and stick on the flap. Post a photo and I'll try to help.

Hi, thanks for that. I think i have the wrong rubber seals- as mine dont have any sticky back to them. they are quite thick and have lots of ribs and shape to them. I questioned the landy guy but he checked the part number 3 times and said it was right. Although on ebay they are selling the same seals as i have but they state that it is for defenders upto 1992 or 1994-i cant quite remember== ( mine is a 1995 defender tdi) ---- i thought they are all the same.
