Huge thanks to Blknight.Aus for assistance rendered yesterday.

I was on a club trip to the Springs 4WD park and copped a hard fault on the air suspension.

I am reasonably well prepared for issues with the EAS (or so I thought) but didn't quite have the bits and pieces I needed to get mobile (this time).

I sent a PM from my iPhone and as luck would have it, Dave was up for a mercy dash out with a Defender full of air fittings and compressors.

He made short work of getting air into the springs (no pun intended) and keeping it there.

I was able to get home same day, and now can fix the faulty component in my own time.

For those of you going on the Cape trip, I'd say you are in very good hands.
