    Recommended LPG fitter in Sydney?

I've been a long time reader but this is my first post here, I've been using the search function to find out if anyone has an LPG fitter they would recommend in or around Sydney but haven't found much.

My last 4wd was a patrol and I went to the biggest LPG fitter in my area and to cut a long story short, got savagely burned. Work charged for that wasn't ever done was my biggest gripe but in the end the failure of the service/work etc caused the patrol to lunch itself.

I am about to buy a RR, looking at a 1990 model and want to convert it to LPG but after my last experience I am a bit worried about who does the work.

I am in the Blue Mountains but I would go anywhere in Sydney to get the job done correctly.

Have any of you had you vehicles converted in Sydney? and were you impressed with the work/service etc

Any ideas would be great thanks.

These people near the Blue Mountains are experienced in converting LRs:

KLR Automotive at Kingswood - they converted my '95 P38A Rangie to sequential injection. They are LR specialists

Davis Performance Landys at Annangrove (they built the engine in my current and previous Rangies). (Also LR specialists)

Riverstone LP Gas - they converted my previous '86 Rangie to LPG. They've done a lot of LR conversions and were recommended by John E Davis Motorworks (now Davis Performance Landys).

I can't mention the name of the chap at Maroota who converted another Rangie (for the previous owner). I had continual problems with it - it was fixed by removing it. When I did, I found a number of wiring hacks which I fixed.

Further afield, British and Swedish at Narrabeen (also LR speciailsts).

I wouldn't go to anyone who isn't experienced with LR conversions.
