Land Rover prices are holding not too badly, IMO

We went looking at Mercs today - my mother is after a W202 C Class. I was genuinely amazed at the prices. In comparison Land Rovers seem to be holding their prices well.

For the same money I paid for a 1997/8 Tdi base model automatic Discovery w 200,000 km, we found 1998 C220s w 100,000 km.

The new price on the Disco was $42,440, the C class $85,990 .

I'm amazed that such a nice, well regarded car with everything* is selling for under $9k

(Everything means - 15" Alloy Wheels, 8 Speaker Stereo, ABS, Air Conditioning, Airbags - Driver & Passenger (Dual) Airbags - Side for 1st Row Occupants (Front), Brake Assist, Burr Walnut Trim, CD Stacker - 6 disc, Central Locking - Remote/Keyless, Traction Control, Cruise Control, Disc Brakes, Front Ventilated Disc Brakes, Rear Solid, Engine Immobiliser, Fog Lamps – Front, Headrests - Integrated 2nd Row, Independent Rear Suspension, Leather Gear Knob, Leather Steering, Wheel Leather Trim (Incl. Seats, inserts), Paint – Metallic, Power Door Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows - Front & Rear, Radio Cassette, Remote Boot/Hatch Release, Woodgrain - Centre Console)

How do you spend 3k on ads for a car?
