    Colour for my 88

Hi All, if you could help me with the corect colour for this car.
Its an ex forestry car from 57, I dont know if they painted it this light green, but the Old factory green is excellent under the bonnet. What colour is it and should I paint it back to the dark green, or is the history of it being(possibly) foresrty green better.

Diana has bought my number 5 trailer, so its off to a great home.

I recently posted a similar thread - my conclusion was that Australian 88s only came out in one colour and that was bronze olive green and the lwb versions were in grey only.

Vehicles that were used for specialist purposes were painted in colours as required - ie red for fire brigades etc.

86s may have also been availble in some rusty orange colour.

88s overseas had a range of colours but these seem not be be made available here.

Oh - I would love to be wrong as I do not like bronze olive green - so PROVE me wrong - but I want evidence not hearsay.

I will have to paint my original 88 but I want a colour that was available in Aust - as painted by the Pressed Metal Company.
