Id suggest that with the resolution of map you will be using that its not worth the hassle as you wont get much coverage by the time you get down to a resolution where the accuracy will be acceptable and when your on the larger scales that show you the long trips you could easily be a couple of K's out with your placements of your reference points which makes the map calibration near on worthless.[/quote
Thanks - I am happy to orient maps in oziexplorer but I did not know you could save the maps as a jpg.  Resolution is not an issue if you choose the correct scale in the first place - when you zoom in the resolution seems quite useable.
