What is it with you and picsI can't post them all up at once.... The thread may die
The poor thing is covered in 20 odd years of junk now... I will try to find some pics when it was first built up. Had a lot of people coment on how well the 318 fits in the engine bay. I did have to mod the bulkhead to get it to sit well back to help with weight distribution.
It would take some hrs and beers to get all the junk off it to take a better pic

Well....
You've now had 9 hours since 1 in the morning.....

A fireball in a series 1
We need more details, what box, what difs and ratios,
How much do you want for it?????????????
There was an article in a magazine in the late 70s early 80s of a series 1 with a 318 attached to a torqueflite - it also had front disc brakes.
Was painted green at the time - is this the same series 1?

Fire ball.... Just before I gave away the mud trials I had a 440 and Jumbo lined up for itBut the 318 was already able to rip uni yokes out in 2nd gear at full noise when hitting dry ground with wheel spin
We started with the 318, a torqueflite ,a Ford blitz transfer and Dana 60 Diffs. Kept blowing up the autos. Last one caught on fireSo stuck a Valiant 200 bell housing with a International C 160 gear box. Horible to drive but very strong other than tail shafts. On the last run it had spat another shaft out so had to come up with a make shift adapter during race to fit a heavy shaft and still as is.
The landy was made up out of what I could get my hands on for little cost or free so is a bitsaLikely not sell it as could kill some one if they went crazy with it.
Likely not as is not a show peiceWas black before Yellow.
More pics... Rats have made a mess of it
Hope to find some pics when was in action soon

OMFG WHAT A BEAST!!!!
Can't wait to see pics of it in action. This thing would make an awesome comp rig these days - blits all those GQ Pootrolls with 2 inch lift and 35 muddys...
Would also love a feature in a magazine (possibly the AULRO one?)
It's big... mean ... loud and fugly. Thats about it. I'm not proud of the engineering. Spring over etc. So can it stay in the shead
If I had the time I rebuild it from scratch and set it up rear power with a water ballast tank in the front and use the blitz tranfer as a V drive. Also a Ladder frame rear end so doesn't torqe up.
It was built for a purpose. Go through deep mud and water fast.
I have moved a few times over the years and cant find action pics yet
Have found a video of it though.
