front brake caliper
hi all still trin to solve front hub squeek can any one tell me do i have to bleed front brakes after removing the caliper as ive not removed one of these before cheers

to remove the front brake caliper dont i have to remove the line from the caliper

Hi, is your squeek due to the backing plate rubbing on the disc - common problem. The lower end is pretty close - scrapes any mud etc off and stops mud etc getting onto the pads.
You can unbolt your callipers and hang them out of the way - cable tie them onto your springs if you just want to check out the area, without disconnecting the hoses. This allows the hub and disc to be removed.

front brake caliper think ive found the culprit
ok what i think has happened is when the maxi drive flanges were fitted to the front the outer seal was not removed i think oil was added to the cv housing so when the flange cap came loose i lost oil and this may have caused the squeeking or failer of the seal or bearing does this sound possible so in the morning will check by adding oil to cv housing
