i guess one should but i have never done it
if i was to do it on my setup it would mean jumping in the cab and turning the switch off, jump out of the cab, connect a blow down type nozzle, release the air than remove the hose
Hi
I Picked up an ARB air compressor, (CKMP12). Just have a question you guys might be able to help with.
What is the best way to disconnect the hose?. Do you need to release the pressure before you disconnect it?
I just pull it off and there is a lot of pressure built up. not sure if this is the correct way.
Thanks

So its OK to just disconnect it?
I just pull the hose, much the same as I do on the compressor at work.
Cheers

With my AC (Not an ARB one - mine is a Blue Tongue), I hold the trigger down and press a screwdriver onto the valve pin to release the air in the hose - then unclip it from the compressor.
Otherwise everyone around thinks there has just been a gunshot.![]()

Dont worry about it, just pull the hose.
