battery light on

hi all, went 4wding to day an went throw some realy derty water, an now my light is on, iv tested the battery an its fine, the volts at the altenator are 11.8 at idel, the light dose not go out when i rev it, have had running water over it for a long time,

is it bugered

nope, all thats happened is theres been some crud caught up in the bushes thats resulted in them being lifted clear of the armature its just a case of strip it down and clean it up....


while youve got it apart its usually worth replacing the bushes.
