How much should I pay for a 1994 Defender 110??

Hey all,

I'm currently shopping around for a 110 Defender, but, being not only new to the forums, but also new to the continent (travelled here from Ireland), I'm still not well up on car prices here, so I'm hoping for some help from those more in the know here.

I'm looking at a defender that's on the market. Seems to be pretty well maintained, has 230000 Kms on the clock, and the owner has dropped in a new gearbox and transfer case in the last year or so, and has replaced the rear main seal, timing belt, and clutch as part of an overall upgrade. There are also a few accessories (spotlights, snorkel, roofrack), but nothing you don't see on many Landy's on the market.

So, given that information, how much should I be looking at here?

Where abouts in the country are you? It does make a difference.

Defenders in tasmania are generally moer expensive because of their scarecity. Also, is it a 3 door or 5 door?

it's a 5 door, and it's being sold around Perth.
