    Odd Noise

I have a 2003 Defender 110 which has developed an odd noise. if the vehicle has been parked for some time 24 hours or so and is then driven, the first 1 or two presses of the clutch it makes a farting sound (as described by my seven year old daughter). it is not during normal running during the day just that initial start when very cold.

has any one got any idea's as to what this farting sound could be?

Is there a smell?? Maybe not so much effort first up.

Seriously tho it could be the return springs a bit stiff, a bit of rp7 ?. Although thats a more creaking sound.

Thanks I checked the cluctch master cylinder I haven't changed a thing and now the noise has gone away, got me buggered, I guess it will come back if there is some problem there.
