when i replaced mine, with 27thou on the clock there was 3/4'' or rotation between the clutch face of the DMF and its body? apparently this is a bit too much and 3/8'' is more acceptable. most places say if you were to replace the clutch plate you should also do the DMF and pressure plate also? if it were me and mine had your k's ide do the lot, just for piece of mind.
if you want to keep it have a look at the friction surface for discolouration be it spots or stripes, this is not good and will get worse and cause clutch slip under load.
