    dengue fever up north Qld

How bad is the Dengue fever ourbreak up north?
Just wonder if it is going to come down south to the wide Bay area.
If the Tropical Cyclone Ellie come down the coast chances are that the larva of the mosquito will come down with the storm

Its probably already there. Have a look at: Dengue fever - Dengue in Australia

Just take precautions if you are worried, frankly I think you should anyway just to stop mosquitos breeding

So far we have been lead to believe that the Dengue mossie doesn't travel far so they normally only have to worry about 150m from the case. The Dengue mosquito tends to be and inside mossie and is quite small. They are also active during the day.

So yes its an issue but its not as wide spread as people might think
