Defender 06 TC & ABS LIGHTS

    Gday Folks

I went for a spin yesterday up to Moore River on the sandy tracks behind the light house (WA, Perth) Had fun, got her bogged and had the missus giving me guidendence on how the car should be driven (grin and bear it) but thats not my problem. Does any body have info on the following. After getting out of trouble and back on the bitumen the Traction Control and ABS warning lights did not shut down, is this common. I gave her a bit of stick but not that much. Easy fix ?

You might find that after switching off they go out - but both come on again when driving. If so - one or more of your sensors is stuffed and will need to be checked by a dealer to find out which one/s is knackered and then they will be replaced under warranty.

Either what Scallops said or it's a computer glitch. This happened to mine (same model) in the Simpson last year. Two travelling Land Rover techs in Birdsville (long story) connected it up to their electronic stuff and cleared and reset it.
