    These were sent to me this morning. I am heading down on Saturday morning and I'll try and take the camera with me to show you all what we are up too (within reason).

    I got the phone call this afternoon to head down for Air Ops in the next few days. Tulip should get over it if I miss Valentines day

    just had my application to go on strike teams here canned by my employer today...

    also we are expecting bad conditions again so as with my employment im qualified as a bushfire investigator now, It was canned...

    and im a bit stinking!

    on the up side...I get to have days off for valentines day with my missus...

    this will be the first time since 1999 that I have not had to work or been away on valentines day!!...in 2000 I left at 0600 for east timor and Ive been rostered to work ALL of them since!)

    I'm heading down on Saturday morning, but to crew the truck. I've been doing air-ops for most of the season but this time I asked for the truck.
