351C and C6. What will it fit into ?

    and don't say a Falcon or F100

    Toss some ideas at me.

    Will a 351 fit into a RRC ?
Chevs do, so would a Clevo ?
Can you mate a C6 up to an LT230 ?

Maybe I should just flog it to fix the things that need fixing on the Defender, but it is a damned good engine. 0.040" oversize hypereutectic pistons, Sealed Power rings, 302 2v quench chamber heads with 4V valves and hardened inserts (for LPG) Everything internal was new 114,000km ago, including all the bolts, oil pump, timing chain etc. etc.
Scorcher/Bosch dizzy with a Holden spread cap and HEI, curve to my specs.
Only ever run on synthetic oil and LPG. Very occasionally I would switch to petrol, but the only petrol it would run on was Avgas or PULP with octane booster
Bump stick is relatively mild for torque, it was in my F100 ex-ambo (long retired) that I used for work and towing the race car years ago.

I really don't need a project, particularly if I don't want to sleep with the dog, but it's a damned good engine just sitting on a pallet......

Stick an F-truck sump on and yes. I have a 351 here as well with same heads and valves. They go hard

I think it would be a bit heavy, and make the Rangie handle ummmmmm.........Less than optimally

Ritters used to do a kit to mate the c series trans to a machined off LT95, still a few floating around out there. Try rovercare he may have one.
And not to heavy, used to have a 308 and that was fine, also a chev V8 diesel, ok aswell.

A bloke I used to know had a business swapping Chev's and Holden's into them years ago in Sydney, just wasn't sure if the Clevo would fit.

Nobody makes kits, I'd just source a LT95 with C4 and use the factory FoMo Bellhousing etc, make some engine mounts and you in, I don;t have one unfortunately, that how I set up my windsors I had, The Clevo will fit, just be snug setting up headers
