    hub tool !!

Hi guys wondering if anyone knows where i can pick up a 52 mm hub nut tool external of rovercraft as they have none, and if someone has one(perth) who would be willing to lend /rent as i would like to have a crack at the brakes, when i tried to undo it will a pair of grips (the wheel was off) and the hub just wanted to spin so stuck a pry bar across the studs and broke it ....not happening fast lol
They obviously are going to be a pain in the 'arris

Any automotive/industrial tool supplier should have/can get one. It's also the same size as Jeeps (used to) use (2,1/16" )

Mine was sold in a hardware shop as a hot water cylinder element spanner, even though it has Landrover on it.

that is the sort of error you want ....have you used it at all ? how much turning does that thing require ? did you leave the wheels on whilst trying to get the thing off so your hub dont turn ?

    Close.
IIRC Nissan is 53mm and Toyota 54mm. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I think I used to use a 54mm on GQ's but 53mm was the correct size and GU's use a pin tool. (Why, I have no idea, just another damned specialist tool to make and make sure I don't lose track of )

I checked mine today and it's actually 2,3/32" not 2,1/16".
Bought it years ago for my Jeeps and it fits the Defender.

One of mine was about $7 new (a few years ago, admittedly), the other one was $5 at a clearing sale, including for that a 2.25 distributor, a steering relay, and an assortment of other bits.
