    D3 photo's

    Hey Guys,

I have been doing some searching of the members ride looking for D3 to show my wife. But seeing as there is some many D1's and 2's, I'm not having much luck with only few D3's.

Could you guys post a pic or two here of your D3. We are keen campers so any action / towing photo's would be great.

    Cheers
    Brett

    Thanks guys.

So do you see many D3 with the ARB winch bars and Kaymar rear bar with tyre carriers?

Mine now has an ARB bar, they don't make a non winch bar anymore. The tyre carrier is probably on the way, if you are setting up for touring it's too hard to get the spare down without unloading everything.
I reckon that the number of people who set up a d3 from new for touring is small to start with and those who have the dollars to do it all at once is a subset of that.
There's a link here to the cage I've set up in the back that's easily removable and mounts to the factory tiedown points.

    Hi Myswag,

Is this the sort of photo you were looking for?

ARB Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Kaymar Rear Bar, Rhino Roof Rack, Long Ranger Tank, Mitchell Bros Hitch, General Grabber Tyres. And it's actually using them in the photo . It's not a winch bar though.

    Tim.

Interesting how you have used the front recovery hitch for a tow bar there. Great for increasing the capacity, but I bet it was hell on the corners!

Perhaps you could put the smaller trailer on the front next time for better visibility.

    Timj,

Mate that is what I wanted to see. Great looking D3 and basically setup the same as what I wish to do. Maybe minus the roof rack...
