HID handheld Lightforce Spottie

Does anyone have any info on this?
HID KIT FOR LIGHTFORCE SL240 170 140 HANDHELD SPOTLIGHT - eBay, Lights, Hunting, Sport. (end time 13-Apr-09 19:31:52 AEST)

This is for a kit to upgrade the spottie to a HID spotlight. It doesn't look like it is from lightforce and will no doubt void any warranty.

With no filament, how long would a bulb last?

HID will have a FAR FAR BIG BIG LONGER LONGER life span than halogen tungsten filament lamps, in fact in most Chinese jobies the electronics will fail before the lamp.
