    After market 18" for D3

I've been searching for suitable after market 18" wheel for use as an extra spare for a Gibb River trip. I have CSA mags x 3 on my Adventure Camper with Gripper grabbers, and 285/18 LTZ Coopers on the car. Can anyone help me in what is out there and where.

Question Coopers in spare wheel well?

I AM CONSIDERING BUYING COOPER LTZ 285/80/18 TYRES. Does it fit in the spare wheel well? What are they like as a tyre?

Given that's an overall diameter of 36", no it won't fit. Are you sure the size is correct?

    Cooper LTZ

And the bad news is they don't fit as a spare, so at the moment the spare is in the back until I find a rear rack

have you tried them with reduced pressures? Do they rub anywhere?

285/60/18 are ~800mm overall diameter. Stock is ~763. No way are they going to fit in the spare bay even deflated. I also suspect they'd rub at full suspension deflection and/or steering lock, especially being considerably wider than stock as well as taller.

Go to fleabay, 18" LR wheels for D3 (and RRS) come quite regularly.
