The ad says re-registered, which to me says write-off bought back or bought at auction. From what I understand, could be way wrong, items bought at auction cancel out any manufacturer warranty.

						SubscriberHi All,
I found this PUMA up for sale on Carsales.com - It's only done 3,000 ks, but has been rolled and badly repaired by the looks of it. Does not seem too much damage to me. I'm looking for another PUMA, and this looks quite tempting at $37k. What do you think?
Perhaps it's a statutory write off? Would that cancel LR's warranty?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Get a few details about the car (VIN/Rego/etc), and just ring LR. Be straight up with them, and see what they say. They might even know about the car.
Any warranty is null and void if the vehicle is declared a statutory write off - it's in the manual.
Since nearly all new Pumas have a series of miscellaneous warranty fixes before they are 100% right for use, I would STAY AWAY unless you are prepared to pay for everything that goes wrong with the vehicle to be fixed yourself.

I have been watching the auctions pretty closely for a few years, and only ever seen 4 pumas go through. only 1 was a rolled repair, all the others were stat writeoffs. It was red i think.
That link doesnt work any more, what colour was the one in the ad?
