    Third Row seats

    Hey All,
Just about to fit a set of draws into the D3, so I am going to have to remove the third row of seats. This will apprently provide eaiser access to the spare wheel winch driver and give addition storage.
Had a quick look, appears to be straight foward, but is it ?
I am wondering if the seat mechanisms are sprung loaded or if there is any other things that I should be aware of ?
    Cheers

Took mine out when I did the CSR and didn't put them back until I traded it a couple of months ago, fairly straight forward, just sight it up and keep pulling it apart, I took mine out by splitting it but it took a few hours, if you get to the GTR site there will be a set of instructions.

You can do a slight mod to the winder with the seat in place but yowill need to access a spot within the draws.

You will need a socket over the winder nut and fix it with some silicon.

I pulled mine out in one piece. I recommend that you have someone to help you as they are heavy and awkward to lift out on your own. It doesn't take more than a 30 mins with 2 people

You need a Torx bit (40? or 50?) and that was about it for tools.

I also removed them in one piece, but next time would split them first. Splitting requires two pop rivets to be drilled out. Definately much easier (and safer) with two people.
Re the spare winder mod suggested by CaverD3, can't do that with Black Widow drawers, but the winder can still be accessed by removing one drawer and using socket and ratchet driver.
