    C1: Normally open contacts
    C2: Trailer pilot light
    54L: Direction indicator switch
    15X: Ignition controlled supply

not being familiar with the relay, i'd take a stab at wiring it like this:

    C1: -ve
C2: ignore unless you want a lamp on your dash to tell you that you have a trailer
54L: to the indicator switch, to supply switched -ve to the indicator sircuit
    15X: +ve

i'd get confirmation on this first though, i'm a lil rusty with wiring up indicator circuits

Is this for the earlier models with Hazard lights? I have a 84 110 and am trying to get my blinkers to blink!

I have a 2 pin relay at the moment but can't get anything out of it...

the 2 pin type are simply a glorified self resetting circuit breaker...... +ve to one pin, the other pin goes to the flasher circuit, which side is selected by the indicator stalk.....

Yep gotcha. On the test bench I can make it work but in the socket on the car I get nothing. It will make the hazards flash though.

Do I need to get myself the proper 4 pin relay or is there a more common unit that will work?

what was standard in the 1984 110? if it came standard with a 4 pin flasher relay, you need to replace it with another one

i'll hunt down my bosch cattledog and see if i can find the right one for you

Well I pinched the relay out of the falcon. Its a 3 pin flasher can. Anyway with process of elimination I worked out the blinkers do work, its just the column switch doesnt. I made a bridge wire for the socket in the loom and it all works. The hazards also work. Its a brand new switch!!!

    Swear, yell, throw, angry, grrrr.

Yeah a four pin. From what I can deduct the fourth wire is for the dashboard light to say a trailer is connected.

Im up for another switch or take this one back...
