    New D3 owner

I have just purchased a 2005 D3 HSE TDV6. Pick it up Wednesday.

My question is what is the difference between the 2005 model and the 2008/9 version other than the colour coded wheel arches and bumpers?

    Thanks

    Congratulations on the D3!

...but what happened to looking for a D2 V8?

Is the D3 TDV6 going to become your daily driver as well as the dog transporter?

Heh, heh - well, I came across this car on the net yesterday arvo. Took my brother out with me to the car yard to check it out and decided there and then it was too good to pass up. Not a scratch on it. It has done only 41,500ks. So roughly 10,000 per year. From what I can see, never been of-road in its life. Very clean car.

So my lovely Freelander will be gone as of Wednesday.

Yes, this will become my daily commute as well as the dog show car. Just have to find some rear seat covers and try to cover up the rear area best as possible from the dog hairs. LOL

    loadspace protector

well done i have just joined the D3 owners club as well, YE HA.

I picked up an D3 accessories catalogue the other day, just looking through it an saw a flexible load space protector, basicly a liner made of canvas to prtect the back area.
If the LR ones to expensive you could allways get a canvas man to whip one up.

I just cut some to size from Clark Rubber for the bottom and made a full boot liner from fluteboard.

Plak40, the one i saw in the LR catalog was actually canvas and covered the side walls as well, also the back of the seats, i thought it would be excellent at keeping dog hair off everything
