    Slide-N-Lock Tie-Down System

I would like to know if there is any place in Oz where I can get THIS rail system to secure the load at the back of the Defe 110

    Thanks

Look out for cargo restraining systems. Try shipping, aircraft and lorry suppliers. If fitting them in the back of a land rover use some loc tite adhesive on the bolts.

A fella I know had something very similar bolted all over the place, in his Rangie and on the trailer.

He worked in the aviation sector as a mechanic

So that light be a place to source if you know anyone that works there

Thanks Jock, I believe that there is some hardware for the small planes like the Piper. etc.
    I will look into that.

Look in the Yellow Pages for suppliers to the transport industry. Vans have to have internal restraint systems, tie down points, etc.

Searching on the web I found the Unwin System which look suitable for my purposes (holding the cargo at the back of the 110)

This racks among other use are installed to hold the wheel chairs on the back of the taxis so they have to be good.

Tysons Pty Ltd (with branches in all the states) are the representative here in Oz.

Thank you for all the inputs.

We have an almost identical system over here that we use on the inside of the Defender and also along the tread-plates of the roof-rack.

Its aluminium cargo rail - £9.75 per metre, clips for it are £3.45each.

I guess you guys will be looking at similar prices over there?
    Regards,
    Jon
