G'day All, No it wasn't a factory option, just a home made improvement, wouldn't be hard to do at all, cheers Dennis

    Hi hillbilliywheelchair,

I had that setup on my 2a. It was a home job from the previous owner. I replaced it with a hardtop as it wasn't very strong.. ie the original hoops were cut and welded with brackets to attach the roof, but they were really not strong enough to hold its weight and ended up breaking.

I actually still have it in a shed at my fathers place but it would be some time before I would be able to get up there and dig it up.

It makes a nice conversion but you'd need to do it properly and make the poles nice and strong

From my best info sofar, this one on mine was done "in service". Soft or hard sides could be adapted with relative ease.
