    Puma Water Hose Rubbing

I noticed this alarming chaffing on the radiator hose on an electrical connection.
Just a word of warning to look out for.
I was wondering if this is a LR electrical connector or maybe an aftermarket item - not sure myself.
Can you guys check yours and reply.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to check my one. (if I ever get it back from the dealer). I'd make it LR's problem with regards to fixing it though, LR are getting awful sticky on mods at the moment, ie if you fit something and the hoses still rub through, then you drop your coolant and lunch the engine they might be difficult about it.

    Cheers,

    Tim

If I look at the connection with insulation tape and sprague tubing on the end of the electrical fitting it just dosn't look like an original connection some how - not sure.
Anyone els had a chance to look at theirs yet before I phone the dealer?

This is on the list of things to double check before leaving for holidays.

Over the next two weekends the Puma's going to crawled over and tightened, clamped, cable tied etc where needed. Found another dust ingress point today near the back door lock, seal doesn't quite meet the frame and will need a squirt of silastic.

Just checked mine. Also attached to a clip on the body - well clear of the hose. But thanks for the tip.

Dealer is going to change the hose.
I assume free of charge, but my wife who took it there never asked.
