Potential rubbing points under the bonnet of the Puma

This one I've loosely cable tied up as the smaller hose was rubbing against the power steering reservoir. You can see I've also repositioned the rubber block to move the larger hose off the same reservoir.

In this case (just back from the one above) the clamp was rubbing on the lower hose as it was positioned outside of the cloth abrasive sleeving. I moved the block back and the clamp forward.

Wire under the new conduit I tied up to the bracket. It was sitting against the air-conditioning bleed block.

This pipe I sleeved very early on, think it's been mentioned before as an issue.

I'm a bit worried about this wiring block, but at present can't seem to work out a suitable way to move it away from the other stuff.

This conduit now covers the coolant line that rubs against a bolt head on the edge of the guard. Also in this picture you can see a small rub mark starting on the brake fluid reservoir.

Lastly my take on remedying the rubbing brake fluid reservoir until I can get to the dealer in 3 weeks time (and about 4000km).

Haven't done underneath the vehicle yet, so I'll post up anything more I find.

No pic's of the underside today. Crawled underneath on the creeper this morning to find there's buffalo crap from one end to the other after a little trip out bush for a BBQ last night. Sticks like the ... well what it is, I suppose! So have hosed everything off this morning and now its drying out. Will get back to it this afternoon.

Had a look at junior's the other day,& i couldnt believe how many cables & hoses are rubbing on things it needs a good going over like your helpful post.
Isnt the air cleaner easy to get out

I have to keep an eye on things rubbing on the D2,but it is no where near as bad as the Puma.

As for my new Hiace work van, everything around the engine clipped in place perfectly, but its got no character, wouldnt go well on the beach,or in the mud

Yes, about as accessible as the clutch reservoir!

Someone in the design department needs to be given a stern warning for those two items.
