Clutch master can use a trailer cylinder, pick up at Supercheap, etc., cheap as.
Hordes of posts here referring to it, 3/4" bore, I think.
If you're going to do the master, you may as well do the slave at the same time.

Hey what a surprise i had landy has been going good for four days now i am well stoked that is until this evening had to nip round the shops .....this is where it all went wrong, i shouldn't have done it...what was i thinking doah!!
i stupidly changed gear and end ex no more go!
looks like the clutch master cylinder didn't like the 5 months sitting idle and has spat the dummy grrrrrrrrrr!
guess what i am doing over the weekend go on guess !!!
I guess i will have to get ripped off and buy one in perth any ideas for cheap ?
Sposse rovacraft is my new friend !
R.A.C. bloke bigged up my 300 tdi (ex army guy) but slated the new puma though he said he was happy for the work, maybe that is a strategy by land rover in the gfc to keep people employed they have developed a problematic vehicle lol.
i reckon the latest incarnation is designed to make people more readily accept anything that replaces defender

Gday Simon,
I better make sure i know what i am doing first lol gotta get the workshop manual out of the garage before going to work in the morning.
I told them that i would cover a shift tomorrow sods law, trouble is i am not supossed to leave during a shift as it is frowned upon !!!
Dont fancy a strip search !!!!
it's always the way isn't it bugger
Hope you've got plenty of patience when it comes to bleeding it. They can be a real mongrel. Won't say how many hours it took to bleed my Disco when master and slave were replaced about a year back - and that was at Rovertech with me helping (???) the mechanic there.
Cheers .........

They've got a couple of good tutorials with pictures to do slave cylinder. Only trick is not to let the pushrod get loose from the clutch fork inside the bellhousing. Been there, done that, felt like an idiot.
Only have to drop the box if you lose the slave pushrod in the gearbox, then fish it out, then somehow dislodge the clutch fork.

having a tinker the piston on the master is rock solid so i believe it to be that.
having a little prayer to all the gods known to man now as can only pick one up saturday morning at the normal over inflated price.
good news is i found the ingress of water into the landy and it is the windscreen supports so will pop the dash out in two weeks replace the rubbers and get busy with some mastic, shame really as we really dont get that much rain, but it is hell annoying.
