    What is the third guage

Australian 101s have three centre dashboard instruments in holes cut into the metal. The two closest to the driver are the two ammeters but I do not know what the gauge closest to the passenger is supposed to be.

Anyone know what the hidden gauge is? I don't believe brit 101s have this mystery gauge.

    Thanks

Looking at the above pic the extra guage is a VDO brand judging by the shape of the bezsil.
My 101 has had no extra guage other than the two standard items for the radio gear.
I suspect it is a post army add on.

Mine has the hole that has an after market oil pressure gauge but the hole lines up perfectly with the other two ammeters. I also have a fourth hole that is clearly made after army service as it does not line up at all.

Or it was made by me - cut twice, measure once. Hang on, I think I have that the wrong way around!

Haha - actually Ron I did not put this one in - but I did put one in last week to the right of the ammeters for a clock - it lined up perfectly but the hole was a little oval when I finished. The bezel around the clock hides the lack of finesse.

Should I gauge your spelling ability based on the thread title "guage"?

At least it's not a Range Rover "Vouge" as many write it...

Yeah yeah - I was wondering how long it was going to take before you picked that up - you are getting slow in your old age - at least it is correct in the actual initial post.

Is there somewhere that I should be looking for the virtual initial post?

    Or.

Is there some sort of other "initial post"?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
