    Winch control box

Just pulled off my trusty old winch which has finally died after many years service, and rather than revive it have bought a new Ironman 9500 with remote control, 'cause that's cool and useful. Might relocate the control box, but haven't decided where. Any ideas, mine is a 2004 110 with the factory bullbar.

    Hi there

Just out of curiosity, what brand of winch was your old one as I am looking for parts for my old warn 9000lb.

I have always mounted my solonoid pack under the bonnet.

It is a Brawn 9500. You are welcome to parts from it. It will work again once reconditioned, but I thought I'd just replace it rather than go through all that again. I'm sure the parts would fit the Warn. I'm going to pull it apart anyway out of morbid curiosity, I think 2001 water crossings was the final nail. Parts will be free to anyone that wants to collect them.

    Hi there

Many thanks but theres a few KM's between me and you for pick up.

But many thanks for the offer.

PS The parts I am after are - the cradle which holds the brushes in the motor housing.
