    Hi all,
Got one in the workshop now with the same, 20's & the Coopers.
Just finished a trip across the Simpson with a bunch of mates.
Thought he would use the 20's & fit the offroad tyres, since the 20's came with the vehicle.

Well he did not say "nice" things about the tyres..Out of the 5 he has 1 left!
The TDV8 performed faultlessly across the Desert & had no problems whatsoever though.
I also know he did have a few "off the ground" incidents...Nice photo's
Great bloke & had a ball having a chat him.

    Cheers

    Congrats on the deal.

Just make sure when u do get tyres they are the "right" size.
The sport has 275/45/20 from memory, the disco will need 275/50/20 to get the tyre rolling diameter the same as the original tyre.

The fun part is going to be getting a tyre as this size may not be popular..for a Disco anyway.

    275/50/20 is O/D 783mm, 275/45/20 is O/D 756, 255/60/18 stds are 763. So 275/45/20 is closer and 275/20 is +20mm which is not legal in Victoria.

You can find 275/45/20 tyres from Bridgestone, Continential, Cooper, General Tire, Maaxis, Michelin and Pirelli, all load-rated 109 or 110 which is sufficient for Aussie D3s.

thanks rmp.. will have a look around, off road is likely to be minimal, so shouldn't be hard to find something i wouldn't imagine
