    Leaking fuel pump connection

Hi guys I hope I'm not abusing your help as I see you guys as a great source of information and experience now.

My problem is that my fuel line is leaking and that equates to $$$$ out of my pocket which I'm never fond of.

I was just wondering whether anyone has had a similar issue with the olive inside the joint not mating with the hollow? It seems as if the olive is stuck in one point and the thread can't tighten up enough to seal?

Not sure if that is the case or if it's just worn, any ideas are welcome.

I have attached a picture, thanks again.

The olive is probably deformed squashsd and stuck to the pipe.
You can split the olive, remove and replace. A bit fiddly......Mark

easy enough to fix, as mentioned get a new olive file the old one off and re-install a new one.

failing that just replace the whole elbow assembly, shouldnt run you more than $30.

Alternatively, fit brass lump ends (hose tails) and connect up with a flexible fuel line like NTP.
