    1985 110

Can anyone out there tell me what a 1985 110 defender/county would sell for? (I'm looking at buying one) 3.5 v8 average condition. No reg or roadworthy.

    Thanks.

I would say that it depends on condition and rust and what you are prepared to pay for it............they are a great vehicle and you can convert it to an Isuzu if you want to - this will make it a fantastic vehicle. But do your checks first and ascertain what condition it is in and what needs to be repaired.......................Brian

When I was looking V8s went for between 1.5 to 5. Rust, condition of engine and gearbox seemed to be the difference.

Around that time they went to 5 speed, not as good a gearbox. I've got 2 x85 Counties, one I bought no reg, lots of rust- now fixed- for an initial $3500, but its an Isuzu. I would have dropped to $1200- $1500 for a V8 in that condition.
For one with no rust, about $3500 is reasonable.

I agree on the 1200-1500 with no rego,, it would have to be one mint v8 county to go for 3500 with no rego, no one pays big dollars for V8s any more.
