Whilst searching for connection diagram for an old bosch device, I found a website with a listing for the standard numbering system used on relays, blinkers, wiper delays and other such devices used from the 50's to late 90's. You can still see the numbering system on relays today, but the more complicated functions are now taken care of by ecu's.
Bosch Terminal Designations
