    Judge dies riding a bicycle

A Supreme Court judge from Queensland has been reported as dying from a heart attack whilst riding a bicycle. Historically senior judges, politicians and churchmen have died riding their mistress, not a bicycle. Billy Snedden and the Cardinal of Paris are two examples from modern history.

A 48 yo judge in the ACT died a couple of years ago riding his bike with a few mates at lunchtime.

He had previously been the ACT Attorney General.

It just goes to show that exercising is bad for your health.

I had a friend in primary school whos father died on his morning cycle.

He rode every day, didn't drink, didn't smoke, and was 38 years old.

Exercise is good for us, but will not make up for bad habits like smoking, drinking, eating unhealty food. It is probably thsee that killed him, not the exercise. At least one middle ages Pope died in bed witha prostitute. I do have his name at home, not with me.

    Judge dies whilst riding...

I had a mate years ago, super fit soccer player, drank a little smoked smoked a little and died in his lounge room one Sunday afternoon.
He hadn't long been married and was 22.
I wonder if he was exercising at the time?

    G'day Folks

It just goes to show that it can happen anytime anywhere, as I said in another post I had a 21 year old staff member die at his desk 30 years ago no history of heart problems nor any in his family, first indication was he had his head on the desk, shortly after lunch, when another staff member came in and said that there was something wrong with him, stone dead , police & ambulance called, then when senior management was informed all H--- broke loose.

I am just about ready to go up to Caboolture Hospital to check up on my wife whom had a heart attack on monday morning, and is going to be transfered to Royal Brisbane today.

    cheers
