Yes they should fit fine. (in terms of pcd and studs anyway)

The wheels are interchangeable between Defenders and Discovery 1's

    Offset may be an issue

Defender's have 16 inch wheels, 5.5 inch steels on 90 and 110's, 6.5 inch steel on 130's or 7 inch alloy on Extreme's. I'm not sure what wheels are fitted to the Puma but they are 16s.
Why don't you get a set of standard Disco steel rims?

i bought some defender steel rims because they are 15" and most 15s cost about 50 bucks less than 16 inch per tyre. i was able to find some bf goodrich mud tyres 31 on rims for 1200 when i picked them up he gave me 2 extra rims. how good is that. nice guy. they were about 90 % . it was a bit more dear this time but second set of rubber will be cheeper. trying to think long run.

yes the off set is diffrent, the wheel sits outside the wheel well, or fender, i will have to find some side trim or a/m fenders. i took them out today, and tryed to get bogged in the mud to test out the air lockers for the first time and the dam wheels kept gripping and pulling me out lol
