Have to replace V8 exhaust manifold gasket this time with mods

I have always found it hard to replace the the gaskets with the engine in the Disco V8. Fiddling trying to hold the gasket the right way round and then offer up the manifold and then trying to insert bolts. It's always the bottom set that is hard to line up and get those bolt retainers in position

Today I removed a bolt and took it to a Bolt shop, they don't sell studs, so I bought a set of bolts slightly longer so I could cut the heads off.
The studs I created will be threaded into the head so I will have some where to hold all the gaskets on at one time then simply offer up the manifold and attach the nuts. This should be easier and less painful

You must be very dexterous, I'm all thumbs. Beside Silastic takes time to cure delaying the job. Wet silastic when moved is a gooy mess
