    O2 Oxygen Sensor Simulator

Setting aside the ethics of whether this is legal or not, what do you technical gurus make of things like this?

link: O2 OXYGEN SENSOR SIMULATOR ELIMINATOR PERFORMANCE CHIP

Two of these (one for each side) for less than the price of one sensor.
One less problem to think about....?
If only they could do it for the MAF too....!!!

    Cheers,

I think its is silly. Why would you want to trick your car into running rich?
At light throttle the oxy sensors are brilliant.

I am in the process of fitting o2 sensors so I can tune my rover myself.

    Thanks guys.
Just curious as I have to replace one of my 02's, so just thought I'd ask.
Know anywhere in Perth that sells them at a "resonable" price?
Best quote so far with plug attached (as opposed to splicing) is $245....with discount!!
$145 without plug, but it's the plug that's also causing part of the prob.
Thats one expensive bit of plastic!!

Don't mind mail order as long as it's boxed scurely.

    Cheers,
