Yes they fit fine. You can either drill the top hinges to suit or swap them for some already drilled ones.
They look fine and are about a million times better than the earlier ones.

Do defender mirrors fit on a series 3.Do you just swap the hinges over from a defender. Can anyone put up a picture ? Do they look OK ......
Thanks.......

Yes they definitely fit. I have just put them on mine but I have to admit they don't really look very "series". I will put up with that though because they actually work, unlike the ones that came with it on the front of the guards.
I used the defender hinges as well. It looks like the standard ones don't have quite so much metal where the hole would have to go through.
I have also seen some that were attached to the windscreen hinge pins that looked more like a series mirror.

Late series 3 had mirrors that were similar to defender but still look series
Hi - I've got complete mirrors to go on my S3. How easy is it to pull them apart so you put them on...I gave the column insert a whack but it didn't move? Sounds like Defender hinges are the way for forward... the mirror hinge holes are quite small and threaded, anyone know what size bolt/screw I should use?
