    TD5 Defender top speed/speed limiter

    Hi,

Any idea of the top speed of a TD5 defender? And do they have a limiter?

I have once tried to see what mine will do, and got 155 km/hr fully loaded for a field trip (GPS speed)

I had 101mph on the GPS out of my 90 (downhill) a few years ago. They dont have a speed limiter

Top speed should be abput 85-90mph on the flat.

i got to 155kph in the 90 (fully standard) down a very large hill...think the aerodynamics were stopping any further progress from that number

I have done this in my County, the Isuzu wanted more, the tyres, suspension and gearing wouldn't allow it.

Surely a TD5 could do better. In my standard D2 I have been over 160kph (private road of course)

If your not a proctologist or another type of expert in arses (example being middle to high management in a government dept) your thinking about this way to much.
