how unusual! Not sure if it is a standard perentie chassis though as I didn't think they had room on the rear axles to fit 2 tyres that size.

Can't say for sure either but the two tyres on the rear axles look to be very close together. The 9.00 16s are only 1 1/2" wider than 7.50 16s and given that the S2B rims they are sitting on give a wider track than the Defender rims it still could be a Perentie chassis. The firewall and windscreen sure look to be Perentie.

It's a vehicle you would sure want to get out of the way of if it were coming towards you!

    re Perentie 6X6 S11B

tas101fc had not seen this picture before now, and near had a heart attack when he saw it.!!!

I'm now headed for the shed with gas axe in hand to re sculpture the S11A FC in to a formidable off road weapon, complete with Australian army issue bull bar jerry can holders and a turbo jet engine for good measure.

Am I to understand that Forward Control Taz and Tas101FC are 2 different people?

My apologies if that is the case.

Will correct earlier post if necessary !

    O.K. People strange request.

I am on the lookout for the current whereabouts of two SIIB.

    The first one is 33100099A

The second one may be 33100098A - the second owner believed the seminal owner to be the University of NSW although I can find no record of one going to UNSW, however #98A went to Australian National University. This vehicle we are looking for had a Narwal tipper body with 3 stage hydraulic ram.

If you know of either of these vehicles, the original; second owner would be interested in their current fate.
