    rear discs for drum brake salisbury

    can anyone tell me if its possible to change a drum brake salisbury in a 110 county to discs and if so how difficult..

    why does everyone want to change to disks?? drums are much better in the long run

    My '85 County has had it done, but you need to go to 130 booster to maximise the potential. I think Clarkie did a tutorial on modifying a Discovery booster.
    Anyway the poms have been doing it for years

    Have a look here brakes sticky
    This is the thread with all the good info on brakes.
    If you have a look at the very first one it talks about how RR classic rear disks and hubs will fit straight on, in most cases. Which would be perfect for you if it going in a rangie. 110s generally should fit a bigger caliper because of the weight.

    Just an added bit of info, I have a 130 DC Sals in my RRC and left the 'fender calipers etc on, no bias issues and they perform well.
